Paso Robles Rhône Experience

Donated by: Villa Creek Cellars, Saxum Vineyards, and Denner Vineyards

This two-day, two-night Paso Robles Rhône Experience for four (4) includes a private tasting at Villa Creek Cellars followed by a Chef’s Dinner with Owners Cris and JoAnn Cherry at Villa Creek Restaurant, famous for its regional eclectic farm-to-table cuisine. The Central Coast package includes a tasting at Saxum Vineyards with Justin Smith, producer of Wine Spectator’s 2011 Wine of the Year, as well as a private tasting with Winemaker Anthony Yount at Denner Winery, located near the far western border of the Paso Robles AVA.

Then, unwind each night at the stunning Comus House, a luxurious retreat located atop the lush hills and valleys that comprise Denner Vineyards. Designed by architect John Robert Mitchell and aptly named for the Greek god of festivity and son of the wine god Bacchus, Comus House offers four uniquely appointed bedrooms, exceptional woodwork including doors crafted from a 100-year-old wine vat, a sprawling living room with a magnificent wall of cathedral windows and crackling wood-burning fireplace, an expansive covered wood porch, and stylish furnishings that lend a rustic, substantial feel to this unique, yet authentic, California getaway.

This experience to be scheduled for a mutually agreeable date within one (1) year of the date of the auction.
